The Angola Capital Markets Commission, in partnership with the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, held a workshop on crowdfunding as an alternative source of finance for entrepreneurs and micro, small and medium enterprises. The event was framed within the National Financial Inclusion Strategy 2025–2027 and focused on how collaborative financing could broaden access to funding and support entrepreneurship. The session also set crowdfunding in the wider context of capital markets financing. Commission officials outlined the role of the capital market in funding the economy and the mechanisms available to help entrepreneurs and smaller businesses raise capital for projects. The program also included a presentation by the promoter of a crowdfunding platform on how the model works in practice and the financing opportunities it could create, followed by a question-and-answer and open discussion session.
