The Central Bank of Jordan reported preliminary data showing that worker remittance inflows rose 14.1% to USD 2.97 billion in the first seven months of 2026. In July alone, inflows increased 13.1% to USD 470.2 million. The United Arab Emirates was the largest source of inflows during the seven-month period, accounting for 20.9%, followed by the United States at 19.3% and Saudi Arabia at 17.7%. Remittances sent by non-Jordanian workers increased 14.4% to USD 1.14 billion over the same period, with Egypt receiving 42.1% of the total.
