The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission reported that the Cabinet approved, on a proposal from the Minister of Finance, the appointment of four expert members to the board of the Deposit Protection Agency, including the OIC Secretary-General as the legal expert member, effective from 7 January 2025. The appointments replace outgoing expert members who left before completing their terms after reaching the age of 70 and upon completing a four-year term. The appointees are Chuchat Pramuanphol (legal), Jomkwan Kongsakul (finance and fiscal), Bandornchom Kaewsa-ard (finance and fiscal) and Piyawat Siwarak (finance and fiscal).

Thailand Office of Insurance Commission secretary-general appointed legal expert member of the Deposit Protection Agency board
The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission announced the Cabinet's approval of four new expert members to the board of the Deposit Protection Agency, effective 7 January 2025. The appointments, including OIC Secretary-General Chuchat Pramuanphol as the legal expert, replace outgoing members who left due to age and term completion.
