The World Bank released “Evolving Practices in Public Investment Management: Proceedings of the Ninth Public Investors Conference”, a publication compiling peer-reviewed papers on portfolio and risk management for central banks, sovereign wealth funds, and public pension plans. The Ninth Public Investors Conference was co-hosted by the Bank for International Settlements, the World Bank, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and the Banca d’Italia, and took place on 12–13 September 2024 at the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s headquarters. More than 50 participants attended, and the release is positioned as part of the World Bank Reserve Advisory & Management Partnership’s work to support public asset management and knowledge sharing across official-sector investors.
