The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) approved the constitution of the country’s first open-ended mutual fund established under Article 7 bis of the Investment Funds Law and reported that the fund has now been publicly launched. The vehicle operates under the framework created by CNV General Resolution No. 1030, which introduced new fund types with differentiated requirements. Under General Resolution No. 1030, this fund category is available exclusively to qualified investors and is subject to less stringent limits and diversification requirements than other mutual funds. The fund will be denominated in ARS and will invest mainly in financial instruments and negotiable securities issued in Argentina, in line with the special rules set out in General Resolution No. 1030.
