The Central Bank of Aruba’s July 2026 Monthly Bulletin reported that the money supply contracted by AWG 201.9 million from June to AWG 7.52 billion, primarily reflecting a AWG 224.7 million decline in net foreign assets. Domestic assets increased by AWG 22.8 million as domestic credit grew, partly offsetting the foreign asset decline. Domestic credit rose by AWG 49.6 million, driven by AWG 56.6 million in additional private sector claims across enterprise loans, housing mortgages and consumer credit. Annual inflation was 2.2%, while the 12-month average increased to 0.7%. Government revenue rose by AWG 5.5 million from July 2025 to AWG 139.5 million, and stay-over visitor numbers increased 13.4% to 160,858.
