The Securities and Exchange Board of India has set up a Settlement Helpdesk Facility to help applicants and prospective applicants understand and comply with the procedural requirements for filing settlement applications. The facility is intended to support the filing and settlement of specified proceedings by providing guidance on the settlement process and the procedural steps involved. The helpdesk will address queries on filing settlement applications, computing the Indicative Amount under the SEBI Settlement Proceedings Regulations, 2018, and checking the status of pending settlement applications. SEBI has also issued a User Manual for the Settlement Helpdesk Facility on its website, setting out the process for using the service.
