The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has published an estimate putting annual core inflation in Bosnia and Herzegovina at 4.40% for the first four months of 2026, based on official consumer price index data and corresponding weights. It also estimated annual growth in average consumer prices in the services sector at 5.64%. Official data for April versus March showed stronger inflationary pressures in the price categories included in the core inflation measure. The core inflation estimate is 19 basis points above the central bank’s estimate from the March nowcast round. Both annual core inflation and services inflation for the first four months of 2026 were higher than the levels recorded for the whole of the previous year, which the central bank said confirms persistent domestic inflationary pressures.
