The Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, working with the World Bank, has published a methodology for supervisory stress resilience testing related to climate risks and initiated an exercise requiring banks to complete and submit prescribed templates. The testing is intended to strengthen banks’ capacity to assess climate risks, improve understanding of available data and its limitations, and identify best practices that could inform future regulatory and supervisory work on climate risks. The methodology, accompanying templates and completion instructions are available on the Agency’s website under “Regulatory and reporting framework for banks”. Banks must submit the completed templates to the Agency by 30 September 2025, and questions on the methodology and testing process can be submitted until 31 August 2025 to support timely responses.
