The Kenya Capital Markets Authority has granted Rubiani Capital Limited an intermediary service platform provider licence under the Capital Markets (Collective Investment Schemes) Regulations, 2023. The licence covers a technology-enabled, non-custodial platform that provides goal-based financial planning tools and facilitates access to capital markets products offered by licensed and regulated third-party institutions. Rubiani Capital targets mass-affluent professionals, small and medium-sized enterprise owners, entrepreneurs and diaspora investors. Licensed fund managers, investment banks and accredited intermediaries remain responsible for execution, asset management and custody, maintaining a separation between advice, facilitation and execution.
