The Bank of the Lao, together with the SEACEN Centre, held the SEACEN Activate Course on “Leader in Me” in Vientiane over 10–13 June 2025, as a leadership and management training programme for central bank officials. The programme brought together 35 participants from 12 jurisdictions including Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Lao PDR. Training content focused on challenges faced by senior managers and practical leadership skills, including resilience under pressure, adapting to change, strengthening emotional management and decision-making, building trust through communication, developing leadership mindsets and improving team effectiveness.
