The Argentina Superintendency of Insurance has introduced the Integrated Claims Information and Analysis System (SINIAS), a new platform through which insurers will submit and consult claims data and related updates. SINIAS covers information such as claims notifications, claims, reserves, payments made and recoveries obtained. The authority frames the new reporting as a way to ensure traceability, improve efficiency in claims management, enable smoother integration of information and strengthen compliance monitoring, with implementation expected to replace various historical requirements in the short term. A testing environment has been available since 31 March 2026 for insurers to implement the system and run upload simulations. While reporting becomes mandatory from January 2027, insurers may begin voluntarily submitting data in the production environment from June 2026.
