The Central Bank of the Philippines will restore regular currency servicing hours at its Cagayan de Oro, General Santos and Ozamiz branches from August 24, ending the temporary hours introduced during renovation and retrofitting works. From Monday to Thursday, currency withdrawals will be processed from 9 a.m. to noon and deposits from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All other interim arrangements remain in effect until further notice or subsequent amendment. These include the suspension of fit currency deposits and the standard 20-working-day verification period, as well as the transition to just-in-time cash shipments requiring banks to submit withdrawal requests at least one week before the scheduled withdrawal date once implemented by each branch.
