The National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine approved measures spanning European integration, sanctions and capital markets regulation. It endorsed assessments of two draft laws intended to align Ukrainian codes with European Union law and criteria for joining the Single Euro Payments Area, reviewed legislation implementing EU anti-tax avoidance rules, and approved revised amendments governing the termination of licenses held by sanctioned professional market participants. The commission also adopted a plan to implement measures under the government and National Bank of Ukraine’s July 2, 2026, Letter of Intent and Memorandum on Economic and Financial Policies, and amended its 2026 rulemaking plan. Continuing its handling of assets connected to sanctioned Freedom Finance Ukraine, the commission revised the list of client and depositor assets, including cash, subject to the asset-blocking sanction. It also registered securities issues involving investment funds and corporate issuers, approved changes to certain private bond placements, canceled share registrations for two venture investment funds, and cleared management, supervisory board and compliance appointments at several professional market participants and asset management companies.

The National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine advanced EU alignment measures and revised draft rules for terminating the licenses of sanctioned professional market participants. It also adopted an implementation plan for economic and financial policy commitments, updated the asset list for sanctioned Freedom Finance Ukraine and approved several securities issuance actions.
