The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) released analytical data on the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s foreign currency reserves and foreign currency liquidity as at the end of April 2025, published in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Template on International Reserves and Foreign Currency Liquidity under the Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDDS). The template is published monthly. The HKMA also restated that it issues four Exchange Fund data press releases each month, with three disseminating monetary data in accordance with the IMF’s SDDS and a fourth covering the Exchange Fund’s abridged balance sheet and the Currency Board Account under its transparency policy, and it listed the May 2025 release dates and topics.

Hong Kong Monetary Authority publishes end-April 2025 foreign currency reserves and liquidity data under IMF SDDS template

The HKMA reiterated its monthly release schedule, including three monetary data reports and one on the Exchange Fund's balance sheet and Currency Board Account.
