The Central Bank of the Philippines and the Financial Stability Coordination Council held their first regional financial stability briefings in Cebu and Davao, using the sessions to present the main findings of the 2025 Financial Stability Report to local stakeholders. The briefings extended discussion of the authorities' annual assessment of domestic and global developments, risks facing the Philippine financial system, and the system's ability to support growth. The sessions took place on 6 and 8 July 2026 and brought together representatives from local banks, academe, local government, media and other financial system stakeholders. Panel discussions included Central Bank of the Philippines Assistant Governor Veronica B. Bayangos, who also heads the FSCC Technical Secretariat, alongside officials from the central bank and the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation.
