The World Bank Group’s International Finance Corporation priced a GBP 500 million, long five-year floating rate note at SONIA plus 30 basis points, marking its first SONIA linked issuance since 2019. The Aaa/AAA rated bond was issued at 100% and will mature on Dec. 15, 2031. Banks and bank treasuries received 77% of the allocation, followed by asset managers, insurers and pension funds with 18%, and central banks and official institutions with 5%. UK investors accounted for 64% of the transaction, with 21% allocated to the Americas and 15% to Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Settlement is scheduled for Sept. 30, 2026, and the bond will be listed on the London Stock Exchange.
