The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan has excluded LLP “QarjyNS Collection Agency” and LLP “2QAZ Collection” from the register of collection agencies. The exclusions were based on Article 9(1)(5) of Kazakhstan’s Law on Collection Activities, citing the agencies’ failure to carry out collection activity for 12 consecutive calendar months. Under Article 9(5) and 9(6), once the agencies receive the authorised body’s notice of removal, they must re-register within 30 calendar days to remove “collection agency” and similar wording from their names, and notify relevant creditors, counterparties under trust management arrangements, and affected debtors within five calendar days.
