The Central Bank of Jordan has invited all companies operating in Jordan’s FinTech sector to contact the bank and register or update their details in a specialised national database, positioning the initiative as part of implementing its FinTech Vision launched on 30 August 2023 and aligning with the Economic Modernization Vision 2033. The database is intended to give the central bank a more complete view of the national FinTech ecosystem and firms’ activities to support policy development and data-driven decision-making, as well as periodic reporting and responses to international requests for global FinTech indicators. It is also expected to serve as a central reference for official sector information and be made available via the bank’s website to support transparency and access for stakeholders, while enabling more structured communication with firms, including invitations and official correspondence relating to events, public consultations, initiatives, and regulatory developments; the call covers start-ups, licensed and incubated firms, and entities in the process of establishment.
