The Central Bank of Egypt reported that remittances from Egyptians working abroad continued to surge following economic reform measures introduced in March 2024, rising 65.4% year on year in November 2024 to about USD 2.6 billion (from around USD 1.6 billion), increasing 77.0% to around USD 13.8 billion during July to November 2024 (from approximately USD 7.8 billion), and growing 47.1% to about USD 26.3 billion during January to November 2024 (from nearly USD 17.9 billion).

The Central Bank of Egypt announced a significant increase in remittances from Egyptians working abroad, with a 65.4% year-on-year rise in November 2024 to USD 2.6 billion. Remittances also increased by 77.0% to USD 13.8 billion from July to November 2024 and grew 47.1% to USD 26.3 billion from January to November 2024.
