The Argentina Superintendency of Insurance has signed a cooperation agreement with JUFEJUS, the Federal Board of Courts and Superior Tribunals of Justice of the Argentine provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, to expand the digitalization of judicial processes. The agreement allows enabled courts linked to JUFEJUS to use the Superintendency’s Judicial Orders System to check directly, autonomously and immediately whether a vehicle has an associated insurance policy, replacing a process that previously depended on judicial requests, administrative exchanges and waiting periods. The platform provides updated standardized information on motor insurance coverage and on insurers and reinsurers authorized to operate in the country. It also generates digital supporting documentation, which the release says preserves traceability and secure access to the information. The arrangement is intended to support court proceedings involving accidents and motor third-party liability while reducing processing times and administrative burdens.
