Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority has expanded its financial literacy and inclusion campaign for young people, with the 2026 program prioritizing Sekolah Rakyat students from low-income families. The initiative supports Indonesia’s target of 98% financial inclusion by 2045 through financial education and the One Account One Student program. Between September 2025 and June 2026, 679,000 new student accounts were opened, while more than 270,000 Bank Goes to School activities were conducted across 122,000 schools. National financial literacy and inclusion rates have reached 69.57% and 93.61%, respectively, although rates among students remain below the national levels. Through August 2026, the authority conducted 3,557 financial education activities reaching 12.2 million participants, alongside broader collaborative in-person and digital programs.
