The Central Bank of The Bahamas has invited eligible participants to submit original research papers for the 2026 T. Baswell Donaldson Research Competition, which focuses on economics, finance or business topics directly relevant to the Bahamian economy. The competition is open to Bahamian undergraduate and graduate scholars studying locally or internationally. Submissions must be original and unpublished, have been assessed by a professor or academic supervisor, meet academic standards of formatting and presentation, and clearly state the research objective early in the paper. The top scholar is eligible for a prize of up to USD 20,000. The submission deadline is 30 April 2026, and papers must be uploaded via the Central Bank’s Submittable portal; submissions received after the deadline or via email will not be considered.
