The Egypt Financial Regulatory Authority has extended to 15 June 2026 the deadline for companies carrying on insurance activity and insurance pools to submit their periodic financial statements for the financial period ended 31 March 2026. The extension also covers the accompanying disclosures and the external auditor’s report. The measure was issued by the authority’s board and is intended to give firms more time to prepare the required filings in line with the Unified Insurance Law No. 155 of 2024 and related regulatory decisions. In a separate earlier decision, the board had already extended to 15 May 2026 the deadline for insurance companies and insurance pools to present annual financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025 to their general assemblies, together with the related disclosures, auditor’s report and board report.
