Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) President Roberto E. Silva used a keynote intervention at the National Congress of Economic Sciences Professionals to set out the regulatory framework the CNV is promoting to facilitate financing through the capital market, with a particular focus on channels for the real economy including agro-industry, real estate and SMEs. Speaking on a panel on capital markets as financing tools alongside senior market and public-sector participants, Silva pointed to measures adopted during the CNV’s past year and a half of management, highlighting the Automatic Public Offering regime as a reform intended to simplify access processes. CNV Vice President Sonia Salvatierra and board director Laura Herbón also attended the event.
