The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved the appointment of three senior managers in the insurance sector, covering a chief accountant role and executive body positions. The approvals cover E.V. Shaiymerden as Chief Accountant (protocol No. 229/SO dated 5 January 2025), N.Kh. Khudaibergenov as a member of the executive body (protocol No. 230/SO dated 8 January 2025), and D.B. Abishev as head of the executive body (protocol No. 231/SO/T dated 17 January 2025). The Agency also noted that, where the qualification requirements under Kazakhstan’s Law on Insurance Activity are met, a senior manager who already has consent to take up a managerial position may be transferred within the same sector to a similar role without additional consent; existing consents can be viewed in the insurance sector register of permits and notifications.
