The Governing Council of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) granted Moneso EOOD a licence to operate as an electronic money institution under Article 37(2) in connection with Article 12(1) of the Payment Services and Payment Systems Act (PPPS), after concluding that the firm had provided the required information and documents and met the applicable conditions and requirements, including those referenced in BNB Ordinance No. 16 of 29 March 2018 and provisions linked to register entry under Article 19 of the Law on Settlement Finality, and it recorded the company’s notification that it intends to provide payment services under Article 4, item 3, letter 'c' as referenced in Article 42(1), item 1 of the Law on Payment and Payment Services.

National Bank of Bulgaria grants Moneso EOOD an electronic money institution licence
The Governing Council of the Bulgarian National Bank granted Moneso EOOD a licence to operate as an electronic money institution under the Payment Services and Payment Systems Act, having determined that it met all applicable information, documentation and regulatory requirements, including Ordinance No. 16 and the Law on Settlement Finality. The bank also recorded the company’s notification of its intention to provide payment services under Article 4, item 3, letter “c” of the Law on Payment and Payment Services.
