The Securities & Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe has published a vacancy notice for two graduate trainees in its Operations Department under a structured traineeship program. The roles are aimed at recent graduates in commerce or other business-related disciplines, including actuarial sciences, statistics, mathematics, finance, economics and risk management, with proficiency in risk and financial modelling. The positions will support market surveillance and supervision work, including monitoring key market infrastructures, reporting suspicious trades and other breaches, and participating in inspections of securities market intermediaries and collective investment schemes. The trainees will also help prepare stress tests and risk assessment reports, and contribute to measuring licensees' risk, internal control systems and capital adequacy. The notice highlights skills in data analytics, quantitative work, Microsoft packages and databases, communication and teamwork. Applications are due by 13 January 2026.
