The Superintendency of Banks of the Dominican Republic has launched “Organiza tu bolsillo,” a financial education campaign aimed at helping the public plan budgets, prepare for unexpected expenses and make more informed financial decisions. The initiative directs users to educational tools made available through ProUsuario, the authority’s user services and protection office. Resources available to the public include a budget planner, credit inquiry reports, articles, guides and educational videos. The authority said the campaign forms part of its broader work on financial citizenship, focused on improving people’s ability to understand, access and use financial services appropriately. Distribution will run through social media, outdoor advertising, radio and audiovisual media, while the ProUsuario app is available free on Android and iOS devices.
