The Bulgaria Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) took a package of supervisory decisions spanning fit-and-proper approvals, pension fund rule changes, and register maintenance, alongside adopting its regulatory activity program for the first half of 2026. The FSC approved Wassim El Helou as a member of the Supervisory Board of Allianz Bulgaria AD and Allianz Bulgaria Life AD, and approved Stela Zheleva as Head of the Internal Audit Function of Phoenix Re Insurance Company AD. It also approved new rules for the organization and operation of the Voluntary Pension Fund "Heat", and approved amendments and supplements to the rules for UBB Universal Pension Fund and UBB Professional Pension Fund. Separately, Georgi Hristov was deleted from the register of bound agents, and the FSC adopted its Program for Regulatory Activity covering 1 January to 30 June 2026.
