The episode describes how seemingly professional chat groups posing as “investment professionals” offer exclusive tips and use group pressure and psychological tactics to prompt victims to make large transfers, with six-figure losses described as not uncommon, illustrated through the example of “Simone M.” and warning signs to help listeners avoid fraudulent offers.
