Egypt's Financial Regulatory Authority has extended the deadline for submitting consolidated periodic financial statements for companies with securities or financial instruments listed on the Egyptian Exchange, as well as other entities under its supervision, for the financial period ended 31 March 2026. The new deadline is 15 June. The extension was framed as a facilitation measure for firms operating in the capital market and other non-bank financial activities. It replaces the 31 May deadline previously set under a March 2026 decision, which had also extended the deadline for annual financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025 to 30 April. The authority had separately already extended to 15 June the deadline for insurers and insurance pools to file their periodic financial statements for the period ended 31 March 2026, together with the related disclosures and auditor's report.
