The Australian Securities & Investments Commission has cancelled the Australian financial services (AFS) licence of Red Panda Future Wealth Pty Ltd, effective 16 February 2026, after becoming aware the firm had ceased to carry on a financial services business. The licence will continue in effect until 16 February 2027 for the sole purpose of maintaining Red Panda’s membership of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), with ASIC highlighting that any AFCA complaint relating to advice from Red Panda should be lodged by 16 February 2027. Red Panda (formerly Capital Financial Planning WA Pty Ltd) held AFS licence 523344 since 9 September 2020 and was authorised to provide financial product advice and deal in certain financial products to retail and wholesale clients. Adam Gillett is the sole director, and corporate authorised representatives have included Apex Financial Planning Pty Ltd, Zen Capital Pty Ltd and Practical Wealth Managers Pty Ltd. Red Panda may apply to the Administrative Review Tribunal for a review of ASIC’s decision, and the cancellation forms part of an ongoing ASIC investigation involving Red Panda and associated entities and individuals.
