The Bank of Russia announced it will issue two Saint George the Victorious investment coins on 14 January 2026: a RUB 3 silver coin and a RUB 50 gold coin. Both coins are legal tender in the Russian Federation and must be accepted for payments at face value, with mintage capped at up to 1,000 pieces of each. The RUB 3 coin (Catalogue No. 5111-0178) contains 31.1 g of fine silver (fineness 999/1,000) and is 39.0 mm in diameter, while the RUB 50 coin (Catalogue No. 5216-0060) contains 7.78 g of fine gold (fineness 999/1,000) and is 22.6 mm in diameter. Minted in uncirculated quality, both coins have a relief rim and corrugated edges; the obverse features the national coat of arms and standard inscriptions including denomination, year 2026, metal symbol, fineness, mint mark and fine metal content, and the reverse depicts Saint George on horseback slaying a dragon.
