The Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission has published an SEC Board resolution extending ERX Co., Ltd. (operating as “KuCoin Thailand”)’s deadline to remedy its capital maintenance deficiency, setting a new completion date of 30 March 2026. ERX had previously been required to regain compliance by 12 February 2026 and requested an extension on that date. The SEC Board granted the extension under Section 35(1) of the Emergency Decree on Digital Asset Businesses B.E. 2561 (2018) and also acknowledged steps taken to address board governance, including an approach to appoint replacement directors to meet Clause 9/1 of Notification No. KorThor. 19/2561. Ongoing oversight will include close monitoring of business operators, including daily monitoring of reports relating to client assets.
