The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) has appointed Bank of China to its Taskforce and announced new TNFD Consultation Groups in China, increasing Chinese participation in the development and uptake of TNFD guidance. As the first Chinese financial institution to join, Bank of China will contribute expert input and design recommendations on evolving TNFD guidance for market participants and support market engagement, data and capacity-building initiatives, including efforts to deepen TNFD engagement with Chinese companies, financial institutions and other stakeholders. The Institute of Finance and Sustainability will convene a consultation group in the Chinese Mainland, while the Hong Kong Green Finance Association and Business Environment Council will co-convene a consultation group in Hong Kong.

The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) appointed Bank of China to its Taskforce and announced new TNFD Consultation Groups in China to boost participation. Bank of China will offer expert input on TNFD guidance and support market engagement and capacity-building initiatives. Consultation groups will be convened by the Institute of Finance and Sustainability in the Chinese Mainland and co-convened by the Hong Kong Green Finance Association and Business Environment Council in Hong Kong.
