The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission, together with the Bank of Thailand and the Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission, has announced the 20 teams selected to take part in the Master Protect and Wealth Board Game Hackathon 2026. The finalists were chosen from 65 teams that applied from across the country for a competition focused on developing learning tools that promote insurance, financial planning, saving and long-term economic security. The selected teams will take part in hackathon activities that include knowledge sessions from experts at the three agencies and mentoring from regulators, board game designers and learning communication specialists. Their task is to develop board game prototypes that explain risk management through insurance alongside appropriate saving and investment planning. A judging panel will then select entries for the Final Pitching round, where teams will present their work and compete for a top prize of THB 50,000.
