Under the auspices and supervision of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), bank staff across Egypt are providing a package of financial inclusion services to the public until the end of April to mark Arab Financial Inclusion Day, including fee-waived bank account openings with no minimum balance requirement. The campaign also includes issuing prepaid and debit cards, providing e-wallets, activating internet and mobile banking services, and running financial literacy and awareness activities. Staff will operate in accessible public locations such as universities, clubs, and youth centers, supported by partnerships with entities including the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Council for Women.
