The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye has launched new Open Banking service features by rolling out version 2.0.0 of the Data Sharing Services in the Field of Payment (DSSP), developed by the Interbank Card Center (BKM). The upgrade expands account information services, introduces card information and transaction functionality, and adds Scheduled Payment Order Initiation and Recurring Payment Order Initiation services. The new version also reinforces the security and functioning of the services and is intended to simplify stakeholder integration. The CBRT reported that the Open Banking ecosystem has reached 16.4 million users and a daily average of 12.3 million transactions, with 53 participants on the current infrastructure.
