The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has released the list of Community Reinvestment Act performance evaluations that became public between May 1 and May 31, 2026. The release covers national banks, federal savings associations, and insured federal branches of foreign banks that received CRA ratings. Under the CRA, the OCC assesses an institution’s record of meeting the credit needs of its entire community, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, consistent with safe and sound operation. The possible ratings are outstanding, satisfactory, needs to improve, and substantial noncompliance. The agency also noted that its website provides a searchable archive of all public CRA evaluations issued since April 1996 and a separate list of institutions scheduled for CRA examinations in the next two calendar quarters.
