The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority has published the 2025 FINRA Industry Snapshot, its annual statistical report providing a high-level overview of registered representatives, brokerage firms and market activity under FINRA’s oversight. The report covers FINRA membership and firm metrics such as counts of FINRA-registered individuals and overall firm revenues, alongside market activity indicators including trading activity and how firms market products and services. New special topics include off-hours trading activity for National Market System stocks with monthly trade counts, dollar volumes and percentages, and average daily monthly trade counts and dollar volumes for Bitcoin exchange-traded products, SPDR Gold Trust and SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust. Additional special-topic updates include firm-size breakdowns for customer order shares, execution shares and customer order dollar-volume shares, and account-owner-type breakdowns for trading activity, order volumes and order placement across NMS stocks and over-the-counter equities.
