The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority has received the sixth interim report in the Danske Bank debt collection case, the “estate case report”, which examines the bank’s handling of compensation payments in closed estates. The authority is processing the report. A number of matters described in the report are assessed as civil law issues outside the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority’s remit and outside the scope of its original order of 21 September 2020, but they have been included in the independent investigators’ work to support transparency and reflect the case’s complexity.
