The Central Bank of Egypt, in cooperation with the Association of African Central Banks, has launched an online portal for the African Financial Stability Committee. The portal provides a central platform for cooperation and knowledge-sharing among African central banks on macroprudential financial stability issues. The portal will publish the committee’s reports, studies, technical papers and reference materials, including the African Financial Stability Report, described as the first comprehensive continent-wide financial stability assessment prepared by African central banks. It also provides information on the committee’s structure, members, meetings and initiatives, as well as its working groups on the report and on the development and implementation of macroprudential policies.
