The Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority has published its supervisory area reports for 2024, summarising the main features of its oversight of financial-sector firms and markets over the past year. The reports set out supervisory priorities and activities, covering inspections, analyses and published work, licensing cases and regulatory development. They also provide an overview of the number of firms authorised to operate in different areas and the number of supervisory inspections carried out across the Authority’s supervisory domains in 2024. The Authority plans to publish its annual report in late April, including results, assessment of goal achievement, information on operations and the annual accounts.
