The Single Resolution Board (SRB) announced the appointment of Miguel Carcaño Saenz De Cenzano as Vice-Chair and Slavka Eley and Radek Urban as Members of the Board. All three will take up their duties on 1 April 2025 following approval by the European Parliament on 11 March 2025 and adoption by the Council of the European Union on 31 March 2025. The appointments replace outgoing Vice-Chair Jan Reinder De Carpentier and Board Members Pedro Machado and Jesús Saurina. The SRB noted that Carcaño previously led the SRB’s Single Resolution Fund Unit, Eley brings experience from the European Banking Authority and other EU bodies as well as the National Bank of Slovakia, and Urban joins from senior markets and resolution roles at the Czech National Bank.

The Single Resolution Board (SRB) appointed Miguel Carcaño Saenz De Cenzano as Vice-Chair and Slavka Eley and Radek Urban as Board Members, effective 1 April 2025. These appointments, approved by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, replace outgoing members Jan Reinder De Carpentier, Pedro Machado, and Jesús Saurina. Carcaño, Eley, and Urban bring extensive experience from EU financial institutions and national banks.
