The Montenegro Capital Market Authority published an update marking 25 years of operation, presenting the anniversary as a mandate to further develop a stable, transparent and reliable capital market aligned with European and international standards. The ceremony was held on 18 December 2025 at the Šipčanik wine cellar and attended by senior representatives of state institutions, the financial sector, and the Authority’s staff and partners. President Željko Drinčić highlighted institutional cooperation, stronger regulatory capacity and investor confidence as core enablers of sustainable financial-system development, and the Authority reiterated its ongoing focus on modernising the regulatory framework and strengthening Montenegro’s financial market.
