The National Bank of Ukraine published updated domestic government debt securities data showing that Ukraine raised UAH 254.9 billion, USD 452 million and EUR 696.7 million through auctions in January to July 2026. Over the same period, the government redeemed UAH 198.9 billion, USD 650 million and EUR 557.8 million. Maximum auction yields in July were 16.49% for hryvnia bonds and 3.20% for euro bonds, while no U.S. dollar bonds were placed. As of Aug. 3, legal persons held domestic government debt securities equivalent to UAH 1.176 trillion, compared with UAH 159.3 billion held by individuals and UAH 18.6 billion by non-residents. Banks remained the largest war bond holders. Individuals’ war bond portfolios rose to UAH 109.1 billion from UAH 73.1 billion a year earlier, while holdings by legal persons excluding banks fell to UAH 91 billion from UAH 108.1 billion.

Individuals’ war bond holdings rose to UAH 109.1 billion as of Aug. 3, while holdings by legal persons excluding banks declined to UAH 91 billion.
