Andorra's Ministry of Finance announced that the Government has approved a new decree on restrictive measures against Russia, incorporating the European Union Council's nineteenth and twentieth sanctions packages. The update expands Andorra's measures in the financial, energy, trade and technology areas and keeps its sanctions framework aligned with the latest European Union restrictions. The decree adds the twentieth package's 120 new individual designations and new entities linked to Russia's military and industrial complex. It updates Annexes 1 and 2 covering sanctioned natural persons, legal persons and other subjects, bringing the totals to 2,469 natural persons and 1,636 legal persons. New restrictions also cover Russian payment systems, crypto-assets, certain financial entities and Russian special economic zones, alongside additional limits on professional services, software, intellectual property, maritime insurance and liquefied natural gas services.
