Dominican Republic's Pensions Superintendency (SIPEN) reported it has concluded its participation in the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic’s 2026 Economic and Financial Week, delivering pension-system education talks in Santo Domingo and Santiago and featuring children and youth-focused educational tools presented by pension fund administrators (AFPs) Crecer and Siembra. In Santiago, the programme ended at Centro León with 320 students attending a session led by SIPEN’s head of content design and supervision, Carmen Pichardo, on explaining how the Dominican pension system works. AFP Siembra presented a children’s story, El Plan de Al, Can y Zin, linked to its Alcanza complementary savings programme, while AFP Crecer launched the second edition of its pension education initiative with the comic El Señor Fondos aimed at children aged 7 to 12.
