The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority has published feedback on public comments received during the formal consultation on subordinate legislation under the Financial Institutions and Markets Act, 2021. It said consideration of industry representations has been finalized for Chapter 3 standard FM.S.3.10 on Governance, Chapter 4 standard CIS.S.4.2 on Transfer and Amalgamation of Participatory Interests in CIS, and Chapter 4 standard CIS.S.4.19 on Governance. The authority said all comments from industry and its corresponding consideration have been organized by FIM Act chapter on its website. Updated standards have also been uploaded, and industry participants have been asked to familiarize themselves with the final versions of the subordinate legislation.
